Welcome to the North American Power Kiting Association website.

NAPKA is a non-profit making organization, run by power kiters from across North America. Our mission at North American Power Kiting Association (NAPKA) is to develop and promote the following segments of wind powered traction kiting in North America, (Kite Buggies, ATB/Landboards, Dirt Surfers, and Kite Skates) by working with the public and local authorities to keep and or open new areas for our pilots to participate in their activities safely. This can only be done by working with the relevant bodies to develop and maintain access to land areas in North America for kiting activities; by growing the sport, by improving safety, as well as offering knowledge and guidance through our instruction at NAPKA sanctioned events across North America.
